Aurora is a multi-sensory meditation experience that helps you escape to the natural from the comfort of your home. Aurora was designed to break down the barriers that keep us from using other human senses such as haptic and smell in our meditation practice. In Aurora, you can choose to meditate under the guidance of professional therapists, or simply explore your surroundings with your traveling companion.

The name Aurora is inspired by the polar lights, a natural light display in Earth's sky, which summarizes our intention to create an immersive world for exploration, reflection, and healing.

Founded in 2022, Aurora is a women-led start-up company developed by NYU students Ainur Kalimoldayeva, Danni Qu, Joanne Tang, and Ziyi Shi. They designed and programmed the Aurora VR meditation app with the vision to support good mental heath and wellbeing in cutting-edge technology.
